Jason Barger B.S, LMT MA# 53996
I have been a massage therapist for the last eight years. After graduating from Wingate University with a B.S in Sports Medicine, I wanted to continue my studies so I attended Educating Hands School of Massage. Educating Hands is an intensive program that demands over 400 hours of hands on practice before a license is granted.
I started my career as a certified Athletic Trainer. Concentrating my studies in core training, physical therapy and massage therapy.
I am a member of Team Hammerheads and Miami Feet Running Club and other South Florida Multisport clubs. Sports have always been a part of my life, which has given me a clear understanding of what athletes need when receiving a massage. Concentrating now on triathlons and running, I have finished over 40 triathlons including two Ironman triathlons and several marathons.
I am a proud member of the National Board of Massage Therapist Association and I am licensed by the State of Florida.
As a massage therapist I have worked with the US Coast Guard, the San Jose Sabercats Arena Football Team and the Ericsson Tennis Tournament.
When I am not involved with sports or massages, I am a dedicated teacher and
firefighter/paramedic for the City of Coral Gables.
